CYCLONE 3000W - SICK BIKE PARTS ELECTRIC SHIFTER KIT
NOW WITH PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER!!
COMPACT CYCLONE PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER - KIT CAN BE USED UP TO 72V (36V-72V with correct throttle)
36V OR 48V OR OTHER??? Select voltage. If other than 36 V or 48 V please select other.
EXCEPTIONAL VALUE. COMPARE TO OTHER ELECTRIC BIKES WITH MUCH WEAKER SYSTEMS, LESS RANGE FOR MUCH MORE MONEY THAN THE SBP ELECTRIC KIT.
RANGE: 15-35+ miles are obtainable depending on the AH of your battery. A rough rule of thumb, depending on battery type and many other variables, on a flat surface, 170 pound rider you will get 1.0-2.0 miles or more per 1 amp hour. A few gentle pedals during a ride greatly adds to range, with little effort. Remember this is a rough estimate - if you ride like a motocrosser, live in the hills, are heavy, don't pedal at all - range will be less. Safe, fun and efficient. And frankly the brutish torque of a mountain goat. Just add bike and battery and no more gasoline needed. Sick Bike Parts offers more parts, stronger longer running for less money all of course with the ability to use the gears on your bike with the motor. Compare to the cost of pre-made hub motor bikes and compare to other electric bikes with no gears. Gears give increased range, more hill climbing efficiency and the ability to pedal assist for even more range.
Comes with the parts you need to make your bike a real viable alternate transportation vehicle. With solar panels you can charge your bike off the grid and really gain energy independence.
Installation is much easier than gas engine installation. And yes some bicycle mechanical knowledge will be extremely helpful, it is not absolutely required. Everything has connectors and is true plug and play with only a single mate for each connector style (mistake proof).

NOTE: If you are attempting to use this kit on a "FAT TIRE" bike please contact us directly. This kit is based on it being installed onto a "standard" bicycle. Fat Tire bikes may have special needs.
We recommend a 15, 20 or more amp hour battery. Please do not go cheap on the battery, a cheap battery won't last. Our supplied pigtail makes connection easy. Suggested sources for batteries:

No manual but just be patient SBP is there for you. Thank you Jim (SBP) for the press fit bottom bracket (91mm x 42mm) that no one else has and for responding for info so quickly. The BB should be about 1/4" longer to add whatever ( 3/chainrings, pedal assist), because it is only just enough.

Motor and controller work very well. The power comes on smooth and there is plenty of it. We are able to go up some steep hills and on flat ground hit 30 mph. The throttle has pretty good action but the led indicators are not very accurate and show a full battery when it's practically dead. The install did come with everything needed and was not overly difficult but did require some extra communication with SBP. They were helpful and quick to respond but a certain amount of bicycle and mechanical knowledge is necessary.
